Lots of weed in the medians and on the road sides. Grass has been moved but weeds persist in cracks. On boulevard edges, along fence lines and around utility poles.
CLOSED No Action Required - Close SR. Aug 28 - Contractor crews are on the final cut of the season for red mapped areas. Mowing conducted on city boulevards adjacent to major roadways and, roads surrounding communities have been reduced from 5 to 4 annual mowing cycles as approved by City Council. This reduction was in response to Calgary's current economic climate and to save tax payer dollars. Mowing cycles may once again increase in future budget cycles as Calgary's economic climate improves.
