Often because the road is very long and straight, there are many people speeding up and down Rocky Ridge Road NW. Despite the new cross walk lights, it still feels unsafe to cross, as often the drivers are speeding and not paying attention. Perhaps a set of traffic lights at this intersection would help reduce driving speeds on Rocky Ridge Road NW, and also make it safer to cross as a pedestrian? It is often hard to turn from Royal Oak Gardens NW north onto Rocky Ridge Road NW due to the often constant flow of cars racing up and down the road during most times everyday.
