Furniture or Structure Concern in a Park-WAM at 57 Royal Oak Cv NW

Describe the concern. This park on Royal Oak Way NW just east of Royal Oak Cove NW was replaced this summer. I understand the concerns/reasons it was replaced and they seem justified to me. However I am concerned with the quality and the variety of the new structures to entertain children of all ages. Furthermore, there is not enough play structures to accommodate the number of children in this area. The former play structures also had much more variety and challenges/risks to motivate and create confidence in children playing and climbing on them. The replacement that is now at this park falls way short in this area I feel. I would like some feedback or contact from the city about any planning that went into developing this playground? Was suggestions/feedback taken from the community prior to construction? Are there any future plans for this playground/park? The current construction and level of challenge in this park for the ages of children in this community are disappointing. Thanks, Kris Kasper
