Request for painted crosswalk AND lights

Issue: New Painted Crosswalk Request

Details of request: The corner of 26 Ave & 26 St is very busy with playgrounds within 3 blocks both north and south of the intersection. 26 Street also leads to the C-train station, an elementary school and is a bike route. There was a bump out created when the new sidewalks were poured which seemed to suggest a crosswalk was going to be created but never was. I have personally witnessed 3 people almost get hit trying to cross 26 Ave, 2 of whom were children. A new solar lit crosswalk was recently installed several blocks away at the seniors' residence - a similar setup on 26 Ave & 26 St would be appreciated.
