Snow On City-maintained Pathway or Sidewalk-WAM at 1125 Mcdougall Rd NE
The entire perimeter and interior of McDougall park - including the bus stop on 11 st NE has not been cleared over 48 hours after the snow has stopped. This area has a huge number of older adults, many of whom have challenges getting around and this lack of snow clearing by the city is a big problem. The Riverside rain garden is a pleasant place to walk and pause and check out the little free library, but this becomes hazardous without snow clearance. Other providers in the area - Silvera for Seniors, Columbus manor, Carewest and Alberta health services have all done a great job clearing snow on the sidewalks on their properties so the city areas are particularly noticeable and problematic. Hope this service can be improved for the duration of the winter. Thank you
