going east to west through the intersection their is actually only one lane for this traffic. But often people use the north bound turning lane for through traffic east to west. If two vehicles arrive at the west side of the intersection at the same time the vehicle crossing from the turn lane must wait in the intersection allowing west bound vehicles to pass. Then those vehicles must make a left into the west bound lane to proceed . A light standard and curb blocks this lane
