Detour Inquiry at 11498 Elbow Dr SW
This is not a 'I hate construction' rant - construction is necessary and closures are needed to allow safe project completion. However, for the last week the left lane of northbound Elbow Drive sw has been closed approaching Anderson and for 50 m or so on the north side of Anderson. I drive this road often and there has not been one construction person or piece of equipment doing anything in the closed lane for the whole time it has been closed. This appears to be a completely unnecessary closure (at this time) causing backups into Canyon Meadows - especially during morning commute. Lane closures should be critically reviewed before being enacted and regularly reviewed to ensure they are required and align with current or near-term site operational requirements & safety. Please review this closure and confirm it is currently required or will be in the near term (although it is a 10 min job to move the barriers) and either remove the barriers or start work in the closed section.
