For those who use active transport, this is equivalent to closing Crowchild for cars and giving no communication. Why are we not given the same courtesy with bold signs? There is no Detour on this for the north. This is the same map that was used for Crowchild closure, this tells me nothing about how to get around 15 blocks of pathway closure. I'm lucky I'm an experienced rider and can ride on the road, others are not. Communications and detour information can not be found on calgary.ca. Completely unacceptable. Why were not bold signs saying to check calgary.ca or call 311 in advance? Those orange pathway closure signs have been up for a year for Crowchild ped crossing closure, people assumed it was for that.
