Describe Issue: Headed north on Richmond Road at the lights where northbound Crowchild traffic exits Crowchild to get to 17 Ave SW. At this intersection you can turn left to get onto northbound Crowchild or you can go straight and go through the intersection towards 17 Ave SW. At that intersection, due to the significant congestion at the next set of lights people often cut each other off trying to get around the people turning left to ensure they are able to get in the left lane right after that intersection so they can head west on 17 Ave. Some people wait in line at those lights behind the cars turning left them proceed straight through when able to get to the next set of lights (to get in the traffic line to turn left at 17 Ave.). Some people drive straight through in the right lane then change lanes into the left lane right away to be able to head west on 17 Ave. Lots of people cutting each other off. A must turn left sign/lane so only traffic in the right lane can go straight would solve this.
