Garbage on the sidewalk and grass strip from 26 avenue NE and 52 street to 16 ave and 52 street NE. It's all over the place. A good portion of the garbage is old and has been mowed by the city into increasingly smaller pieces. If garbage is left all over the ground it encourages people to keep throwing it there. Calgary is a lovely city and needs to keep its standards high so we can all be proud to live here. Since the grass will be going dormant now and more mowing not required it seems like a good time to clean up to prevent more mower scattered garbage which is much harder to clean up.
