New installation of flashing pedestrian signal at cross walk

Details of request: I am requesting that the City consider installing a flashing light pedestrian signal at this intersection. Country Hills Blvd is a very busy road and this is a dangerous cross walk. Although there is a pedestrian sign, drivers regularly do not stop at the cross walk and we have witnessed several "near miss" incidents with pedestrians trying to cross. Many kids from the nearby school use this cross walk during their lunch break.

Specific location details: Cross walk is located across from the Royal Oak Centre/Royal Bank on Country Hills Blvd NW.
