The traffic circle at Varsity Estates Circle NW/53 Street NW was intentionally built as a traffic calming measure to ensure traffic is being diverted onto Crowchild TR instead of 53 ST. This was part of the development agreement when the Groves condo project was approved.

Issue: Uneven Surface / Cracks

Specific details of the issue: Sometime in 2020, the traffic circle was altered (curb was cut and removal of bollards). Now traffic is illegal driving over the area of the missing curb cut and traffic is heading down 53 ST NW.
