Coyote Sightings and Concerns at 503 Mcintosh Rd NE
While running with my dog, a Shiba Inu - that resembles a fox - in the Mayland Heights dog park, my dog suddenly slowed down and then stopped. When I turned to look what he was looking at, I came face to face with the lone Coyote that had managed to very silently stalk us, and managed to get as close as between 4-5 feet away behind us. The animal was crouched down very low and baring its teeth at my dog. See attached photo as a reference of close distance.
