Move to Future Out of Season Backlane Maint List. Water is draining from homeowner's property into the lane as seen in photo attached; which is against BY-LAWs. Please divert your water drainage onto your own property. If the neighbor's water is also draining into the lane, please call BY-LAW to report this illegal activity. Added to list for possible treatment however lane is still passable and safe. Emergency vehicles such as ambulance and fire trucks can still access lane in the event of an emergency. Waste and recycling trucks can still access lane for garage and recycling duties. Gravel lanes are not maintained to the same standard as roadways. Please consider having your lane paved. See City of Calgary website and search 'lane paving' for info on how to have your lane paved. Your lane is safe and passable when driving 15kmph. Garbage department keeps putting pea gravel in back lane and won't pick it up!
