Bike lane detour is not robust. Please do better and not require bikers to dismount on the only through fare bike lane going north south. Cars have other options. This is the only divided bike lane and impacts from construction should be considered and accommodated accordingly. We need to encourage and protect bikers and pedestrians. The current "detour" (which is a dismount that is poorly signed) is laughable. Please do better.

Concern in detail (include landmark): City of Calgary please do better. It is not ok to close the only North/South bike lane and not offer a bikable detour. The current ATCO repairs could accommodate bikes but instead city choses to get bikers to dismount vs have any small impact to cars
