RE: SR 24-00326151. Thank you for sending a grader and some gravel to attempt to remedy the concern reported by me earlier this year (as well as last year). Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the picture attached (taken June 18, 2024), the problem continues to exist. It will not be remedied by the scrape of a grader blade, or by the addition of more loose gravel. There is a low spot in the back alley, and the level of the alley in that spot needs to be raised by adding some form of hardpack.

Specific details of the issue: The problem reported in SR 00326151 has not been remedied through two previous attempts made by the city as part of both the 2023 and 2024 laneway maintenance programs. The picture attached (taken after the alley was graded and loose gravel was added earlier in June) confirms that significant water accumulation continues with every rainfall. Please don't make us wait for the 2025 laneway maintenance program!! We're tired of using an ice scraper to rid the garage of tracked in mud, and constantly washing the overhead door because of muddy water splashes courtesy of lead footed drivers using the alley as their raceway.
