Dogs must be on leash sign required on bike pathway

Details of request: This bicycle pathway off 15th st SE is very popular. However, there are multiple occasions where people do not have their dogs leashed. These dogs are well behaved most of the times but there have been several occasions where dogs are a bit out of control. I leash my cat on my front porch when outside and these off leash dogs will act in an aggressive way and scare my cat. Because dogs aren't leashed , they will come on to my front yard and go after my cat who's minding his own business.

Specific location details: A sign on a pole along the pathway would serve as reminder to keep dogs on leash. Ppl assume that since it's close to the river and it's not a very busy area, that it's ok to take dog off leash when there are ppl living along the pathway
