Because of the decision to increase the height and size of the concrete base, rather than use different length of pole, the push buttons are no longer universally accessible. They are too high up to be reached by someone in a wheelchair. Or by a child. The base is also too wide, making the button too far away to be reached by someone in a wheelchair. This is a common problem that goes unaddressed at many Calgary locations.
