Timing of traffic light at s/b Deerfoot ramp to Cranston Ave / Seton Blvd is not set correctly for afternoon rush

Describe Issue: The traffic light that controls traffic from the southbound ramp off of Deerfoot Tr exiting to eastbound Seton Blvd / Cranston Ave is not timed properly for the afternoon rush hour. Only 8-10 vehicles are getting through the light at a time, which pushes the south-bound traffic back down the ramp, and all the way down Deerfoot, often as far as Stoney Trail. I have witnessed one accident as a result of this backup and have heard about many more.
