A grader came today and removed ice and snow that was impeding flow to the drain in front of my house. There was about 2 m swath of icy material removed. The issue is the pathway to the drain is blocked the whole length of the street with ice. As the temperature increases and the ice melts, the driveways are flooding as the water has no way to get to the storm drain. There are a lot of senior citizens on our street and chipping ice that is 6 inches thick is unattainable.
